I got to work with South Carolina promotional and bikini model Ariel Atwood. She is just starting out but I predict that she will soon be a sought after model in the industry. Book her now, seriously her star will only rise. This was my first photo shoot with Ariel and she was exceptional. Ariel is a natural and her infectious smile set the tone for the shoot. We shot a few different looks, I got hit with baseball bat, we laughed a lot and recorded a little sexy behind the scenes video for you guys (see below).
The day we picked to shoot there was a 90% chance of rain that afternoon so we decided to shoot earlier in day. I love shooting on bright overcast days, it really makes shooting easier. No need for big light diffusers like my Scrim Jim or trying to find good light in the shade. For this shoot I used a 47” foldable octabox with a Paul C Buff Alien Bee 800 for fill light triggered with Pocket Wizards.
Altogether another successful shoot.
